ACT I
Scene: A meadow with a canopy of stars. The canopy is made of a black sheet draped unevenly over some kind of slipshod support structure and with either stars painted on it or holes poked through and lights shining through. Anyway, that’s hanging over the meadow, low enough for the audience to see the entire structure, and there’s a tree to the left. there is a big sun, made out of cardboard or paper mache or something, hung above the canopy on the right. It’s still night though. The sun is blocked by the black sky.
Bunny-hug enters. He/she is painted all yellow, preferably with blonde hair, and wears a yellow t-shirt that says “BUNNY HUG” in white letters, yellow pants, and yellow keds. Bunny-hug lays down in the grass and starts to roll around and have fun. Not like crazy excited fun, but like relaxed, lazy-day fun. Passy-measure enters. He/she is unpainted, but wearing matching red t-shirt that says “PASSY-MEASURE”in white letters, pants, and keds. NOT with red hair.

Passy-measure: Hey, what’s going on?
Bunny-hug: (stops rolling and looks up at Passy-measure) Nothin’. Hi.
Passy-measure sits down next to Bunny-hug.
Passy-measure: I’m tired today.
Bunny-hug: Me too. (Bunny-hug rolls some more, just gently)
Passy-measure: (suddenly swatting at a bug) Damn night bees!
Bunny-hug: I got a problem.
Passy-measure: What’s the problem?
Bunny-hug: Well, it’s kind of private.
Passy-measure: Don’t worry, it’s just me! (Passy-measure glances at the audience and gives a large, theatrical wink)
Extrememly loud voice-over: WHAT AN ASSHOLE
The audience laughs.
Bunny-hug: It’s this thing with my testicles. They’re kind of swollen.
The audience laughs.
Passy-measure: That doesn’t sound so bad.
Bunny-hug: You don’t have to have them.
Passy-measure: True, dawg, true. (swatting at more bees) Damn night-bees!
